NATIONAL SEMINAR

A National
Seminar on "Role of ICT in Teaching-Learning Process" was held in
the college under the auspices of the Internal Quality Assurance
cell on the 1st of sep 2015. It was officially
inaugurated by lighting the holy lamp before the portrait of goddess
Saraswati by the guests at 10.30 am in Hall A of the new block.
After the inaugural song introduced the Chief Guest and the Guest of
Honour to the Principal audience comprising of the students,
teachers, delegates and press personals. He also spoke on the
relevance of such a seminar in the college curriculum. Prof.
Rameswar Naik, Teacher in charge of UGC affair and Prof- Ashwini
Kumar Hota , Coordinator, IQAC also spoke on the importance of the
seminar especially when the college is Preparing for the NAAC
accreditation. They asserted that the seminar will be beneficial for
the improvement in the teaching- Learning process and for NAAC
accreditation Guest of honour Dr. Nirupama Badpanda. Principal Dr.
PMIASE Sambalpur in her address vividly explained the various
methods of teaching and emphasised the role of modern technologies
in teaching-learning process. Chief guest Dr.Minketan Pathy Retired
Principal. Dr.PMIASE, Sambalpur also analysed various factors
relating to the use of modern gadget and the role of a teacher
therein, in his address. Dr. Rabi Narayana Tripathy, lecturer In
Political Science proposed a vote of thanks. The session came to an
end with the closing song performed by the girl students under the
guidance of prof. Ashwini Kumar Pardia, Lecturer in Odia.
