Department of Odia,
Shree Ram College, Rampur offers Pass and Honours teaching facilities in
Degree Level. The department has permanent affiliation with Sambalpur
University (Jyoti vihar, Burla) Odisha. In the Undergraduate Level it has
enrollment strength of 16 nos of seats each in +3 1st, +32nd and +3rd year
classes Likewise. It has 192 seats in each of the classes.

The department has three faculty members and with two (2) post
laying vacant.

Lecturers Sl.No.1 and 2 have more than 20-25 years of teaching experience
and Sl.No.3 has one year experience specification in Folk-lane modern poetry
and Drama.
Academic Activities (2013-14)
1. The department organized Gangadhar Jayanti on the dt.13.08.2014 in
collaboration with the U.G.C. Dr. Ashok Kumar Panda, Principal presided over
the meeting. Dr. Chhayakanta Sarangi, Head of the Department of English,
D.A.V. College, Titilagarh graced the occasion as the chief Speaker and Miss
Subhashree Patra, Head of the Department of Odia of Women’s College, Bargarh
attend as the Chief guest.
